I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and have spent the last 10 years researching how ADHD manifests for me and its impact on adults. I also experience physical tics and utilize hypnotherapy techniques to alleviate the associated symptoms. Although I tried medication and various talking therapies, it was only when I discovered hypnotherapy that I managed to implement the changes necessary to start living my best life. Additionally, I have educated my family on how ADHD presents uniquely in each of us, fostering effective communication without the fear of arguments, which is especially beneficial for neurodiverse families.
I have dedicated many years of my career to providing support for ADHD to children and families, both at home and within educational settings. My goal has always been to help them understand themselves and work towards independence and self-advocacy as they transition into adulthood.
I am passionate about applying my knowledge and experiences to assist others with ADHD, recognizing that each individual’s experience varies—men and women with ADHD often exhibit different behaviors and traits. This variation is why it's crucial for me to help my clients unpack their unique situations and provide long-lasting results.
I understand that when ADHD feels unmanageable, it can be incredibly embarrassing to admit struggles with tasks that others find simple, such as keeping up with housework, completing tasks, arriving on time, and fulfilling promises or obligations. I assure you that if you seek my help, I will offer a completely safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach, as I know firsthand how challenging it can be.
With dedication and the right support network around you, it is possible to live successfully with ADHD and manage the behaviors associated with it.

ADHD coaching is a practical, strength-based form of support designed to assist individuals with ADHD in understanding how their minds work and developing effective strategies for daily life. This approach, which is particularly beneficial for neurodiverse families, recognizes ADHD as a difference in brain processing of information, motivation, and emotion, rather than a challenge to be fixed.
Coaching creates a safe, non-judgmental environment to cultivate skills, confidence, and self-awareness while honoring each person’s unique way of thinking.
The skills acquired through ADHD coaching can be applied across various areas of life, including work, home, relationships, hobbies, and overall lifestyle, making it a valuable support for ADHD.
ADHD coaching for work supports individuals, including those from neurodiverse families, in understanding how their ADHD impacts their professional life and helps them develop practical strategies to work more effectively. This coaching focuses on strengths while addressing challenges such as time management, organisation, prioritisation, focus, and workplace communication. Through a collaborative and non-judgemental approach, clients build systems that suit their unique way of thinking, increase confidence, and reduce stress. ADHD coaching provides valuable support for ADHD, empowering individuals to work with their neurodivergent brain, enhance performance, and feel more capable and supported in their work environment.
In neurodiverse families, each member may experience the world in unique ways. Support for ADHD plays a crucial role in not only aiding individuals but also in fostering a deeper understanding within families, helping everyone grasp one another’s needs, communication styles, and emotional responses.
Families can benefit from this support by:
- Understanding how ADHD manifests in everyday life
- Reducing misunderstandings and frustration
- Shifting from blame to compassion and collaboration
- Recognising strengths alongside challenges
When neurodiverse families comprehend the reasons behind certain behaviors, it becomes easier to respond with patience instead of conflict.
ADHD coaching provides essential support for ADHD, helping neurodiverse families communicate in clearer and more supportive ways. This may include learning how to:
- Express needs and boundaries more effectively
- Create routines that work for different brains
- Reduce emotional overload and overwhelm
- Navigate transitions, responsibilities, and expectations
- Promote independence and confidence in using new tools and strategies in a safe environment.
By fostering a shared understanding and equipping families with practical tools, coaching supports a calmer, more connected home where everyone feels heard and valued.
ADHD coaching is not therapy or discipline-based support. It is a collaborative process that empowers neurodiverse families to work with, not against, their unique strengths. The focus is on progress, self-trust, and creating systems that provide effective support for ADHD, ensuring wellbeing for everyone in the household.
With the right understanding and adequate support for ADHD, neurodiverse families can transition from tension and confusion to connection and harmony. ADHD coaching plays a vital role in helping neurodiverse families build empathy, strengthen relationships, and foster a home environment that promotes growth, balance, and mutual respect.
